Literature Analysis #2
Book: True, Madly, Deadly
By: Hannah Jayne
- In this book we can see that the author had two protagonists name Maggie and Chloe they are High School students and also sisters that suddenly go through a rough time do to a car crash in which their boyfriends were in. At first it was hard for both of the twins because they were in catastrophic situation and took therapy for it because Chloe's boyfriend died in the car crash and Maggie, Chloe, and sawyer survived. A month pass they were much feeling better and they had another situation in where Chloe wanted to steal Maggie's boyfriend and then the sisters will become enemies. This would lead to a very bad situation and conflict between their family lives and future.
- The Theme of the novel is:
- The theme of this book is burdens from a car crash & stupidity
The reason why this is the theme is because the car crash impacted their lives and they lost someone they love but they're in high school and have their whole lives ahead of them. The reason why is stupidity is because I won't chose a guy over my sister they are plenty of other guys and your just in high school you have your whole life ahead of you and your future.
3. The authors tone is probably disappointment because this teenage girl chose a guy over her own family like who does that. I feel when she was writing this book she wanted us the readers to know what kind of people are in this world on how they can chose something that is not worth it and that you still have a future and decide that you can find someone better end up affecting you such as losing everything.
